Problem 1: Low output of work or an absolute absence of intended work results

  • lack of a good working plan
  • lack of working motivation (low salaries, bonus absence)

  • Talk to your staff more. It is necessary to feel the mood of every team member, to know about all controversial situations and help the team to solve long-standing conflicts. Also you can arrange team building events and other joint activities. Your staff will appreciate your efforts.   
  • Bring the system into the work process. It is a great practice to create a general working plan, determine the nearest goals and distribute the tasks among the employees. And try to teach employees to keep diaries where they will record not only their day tasks, but also write the time spent on their execution.
  • Reasonable motivation. Do not splash company money for useless bonuses – instead, try to create a spirit of healthy competition in the company, setting realistic goals and encouraging true overachievers.

  • ineffective ways of request processing (too slow, too inaccurate, too rude, etc.)
  • lack of logistics to work with interested customers (inconsistent actions and lack of due cognisance)

  • Follow the logic. Try to concentrate on the entire process of the interaction, beginning from the receipt of the request and finishing the customer opinion about your company – how comfortable or not it was to work with you. Find the weaknesses (complicated request forms, ineffective sales scripts, foggy commercial offers, etc.) and change or refresh it. Clients do not like to see some strange ways of working – so it is not bad to be stereotyped a bit.
  • High quality only. Always working on quality and impeccable performance of your services can help you avoid this trouble. Arrange quality checks by using a secret buyer method – that’s the best way to observe the work of employees and how they can meet the needs of prospective customers.

Problem 3: Unreasonable investment on company promotion

Root of all evil: the most frequent reason caused this problem is involvement of the wrong and ignoring effective resources for attracting clients. Well, it is a matter of a good marketing strategy that you should choose.

Tips to fix the problem:

  • Make some useful calculations. Try to explore the maximum suitable cost of attracting one client (how much you can spend and have a benefit). Now you need to understand how to find out how many real customers, not the requests, each your channel brings. The easiest way is to ask your managers to find out from the customers how they found your company.
  • Find the best resources. Select three to five good and effective client channels, based on available data and freshly collected from your customers. Do not think ‘the more is the better’ – it will not work until you begin to receive a constant, high-conversion on request flow of customers from at least one channel.
